Beautiful Handmade Antique French pure silk, lace and applique bed cover Louis XV style. Oyster cream silk made in two halves. Top half with large floral applique, top edge with drawn thread work border.

Horizontal join in a scallop design with cut and drawn thread detail. Lower half features smaller floral appliques, monogram in centre circle with crown above, brussels type deep lace edging to both sides and bottom edge, small gap in lace to each side (by design). Shown on a double bed with both sides & bottom reaching almost to the floor. Length: 96 (244cm) excluding lace. Width: 94 (239cm) excluding lace.
