ANTIQUE VICTORIAN FLORAL DECORATED ART OPALINE GLASS MANTEL EWER VASE. Genuine Antique Opaline Glass Decorative Vase or Water Pitcher (shape). Beautifully Handpainted Floral Artwork Clearly for an impressive display albeit no practical usage as a vase / pitcher is possible. Opaline glass is a type of opaque or semi-opaque glass that was first produced in France in the 1800s. It is known for its milky, translucent appearance and was often used for decorative objects such as vases. The fact that this vase has a hand-painted artwork suggests that it may be a one-of-a-kind or limited-edition piece. Each one made would be different.

The fine lines and green fauna within the work enhance the overall aesthetic of the vase. The ornate handle, pouring area and base are metal painted in a Matt Gold Colour. No cracks, no refurbishment, mends or significant signs of chips. Measures approximately 32 inches in total height.
